ROLE OF PARTICIPATION IN KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR ASSEMBLING IN INCREASING PERCEPTION ON PROCEDURAL JUSTICE OF EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL

ABSTRACT

KPI is an individual work plan consisting of performance indicators, goals and targets of work. KPI comparing an actual performance to expected performance in order to achieve effectiveness, efficiency and quality of performance and results.This research aims to identify whether the role of participation in Key Performance Indicators (KPI) assembling can increase perception about procedural justice of performance appraisal. The hypotesis of this study are an influence role of participation in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assembling on perception about procedural justice of performance appraisal. There are two variables in this study are the independent variables such as role of participation in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assembling, and dependent variable in the form of perception about procedural justice of performance appraisal. Subjects in this study were 21 employees, the study design used is the design of non-randomized pretest and posttest control group design. This study used two groups of subjects, the control group and the experimental group. Subject came from 3 divisions which are  support and finance divition, business development and operation production. Research subject in the experimental group will receive treatment in the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assembling. While in the control group was not given treatment. Data analysis method was used in this study is a statistical method, analysis techniques used are non parametric analysis techniques mann-whitney test to see the effect of given intervention, is there a difference between before and after given treatment in both groups by comparing pretest and posttest result. The result of Mann-whitney analysis showed that there is a significant difference to the perception about procedural justice of performance appraisal in the experimental group in PT.X Yogyakarta between before and after treatment are given in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assembling (Z=-2, 947; p=0,003).
